# Usage & limits

> Track what your studio is using against your plan's limits.

The **Usage** tab shows what your studio is consuming this month against the limits your
[plan](/qwacks/billing-plans) allows — a running read on how much headroom you have before it's
time to upgrade.

## What's measured

Usage is broken down per product, with the metrics that matter for each:

* **Flock** — API calls and monthly active users (MAU)
* **Data Duck** — reports generated and shared reports accessed
* **Protokite** — playtests and QA sessions

There are studio-wide counters too, like the number of **games** and **analytics events**, each
shown against your plan's quota. Every metric sits next to its limit with a bar that turns amber as
you near the cap and red once you're almost there. Limits set to unlimited are labelled as such
rather than charted.

<Tip>
  A metric creeping toward its limit is your cue to move to a larger
  [plan](/qwacks/billing-plans) — you can upgrade whenever you like, and the new limits take effect
  immediately.
</Tip>

## Renewals that need a hand

Most renewals charge your saved card quietly in the background. If your bank wants to confirm one,
Usage shows an **action required** notice with a link to finish the payment. Completing it there
keeps your plan from lapsing — it's the same as paying any [invoice](/qwacks/billing-invoices).
